Update On The Rock's WWE WrestleMania 41 Status

The Rock's status for WrestleMania 41 has been officially up in the air heading into WWE's biggest show of the year, with WWE revealing very little about Dwayne Johnson potentially being at 'Mania beyond the addition of a couple of Rock emojis on X/Twitter.

In an update, however, WrestleVotes has reported on WrestleVotes Radio that a source has told them The Rock will likely be involved in some fashion at WrestleMania 41.

"A source close to WrestleVotes indicates that The Rock likely will be involved in some fashion this weekend in Las Vegas. Nothing else has been revealed, while many on the inside aren't clued in either way. We did reach out to a source who is familiar with plans who simply said they could not speak on the situation....So we're hearing that it's likely you see Rock, however, nobody has been able to confirm that to us," WrestleVotes said.

The Rock was a key factor in the build to WrestleMania, facilitating John Cena's heel turn at Elimination Chamber after The Rock failed to buy Cody Rhodes' soul. The Rock, John Cena, and Travis Scott then beat down Cody following Cena's heel turn, but Dwayne Johnson has hardly been mentioned since March 1 and there was no mention of him at all by Cena or Rhodes until March 31.

Reports have noted the presumption within WWE was The Rock would be at WrestleMania 41 in some form, but WWE decided to de-emphasise Johnson in the Cena vs. Rhodes feud due to him not being confirmed for WrestleMania. John Cena will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41.
