Update On Trish Stratus Potentially Appearing At The Royal Rumble

It was reported earlier this week that there were discussions within WWE over the potential of a Trish Stratus return in the women’s Royal Rumble match later tonight when the promotion takes over the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was known that WWE were bringing Stratus in for Royal Rumble weekend, and has an appearance scheduled at Wrestlecon. 

There is another potential sign that has emerged over the weekend that suggests that WWE is planning a Trish Stratus return in the Royal Rumble match, and that is the release of a brand new t-shirt. On WWE Shop, the company is selling a t-shirt to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Trish Stratus arriving in WWE, so it would make sense for this to coincide with a cameo in the Rumble. Along with Stratus, there are also t-shirts released for Triple H’s Hall Of Fame induction and an Indy 3:17 Pat McAfee t-shirt. 

Stratus has not competed in a WWE ring since all the way back at Payback 2023 when she lost a Steel Cage match to Becky Lynch. Current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton noted late last year that she wanted a match with Stratus.
