Update On When Wardlow Could Return To AEW TV

Wardlow remains off AEW TV but there has been an update on when he could return

Wardlow is currently on hiatus from All Elite Wrestling and AEW CEO Tony Khan has revealed further details about when he plans to bring the former TNT Champion back to TV.

"Wardlow is a great star for us. He's been one of the greatest TNT Champions and a great star. I'm a very big fan of Wardlow and he will surely be back on AEW TV when the time is right and he's still very much a part of what we're doing here," Khan said during the pre-WrestleDream media call.

Wardlow hasn't wrestled on AEW TV since he dropped the TNT Championship to Luchasaurus on the debut episode of Collision on June 17. Wardlow had been feuding with Christian Cage and Luchasaurus in the weeks prior to his loss to Luchasaurus.

Why exactly AEW decided to pull Wardlow from TV has not been revealed. Wardlow himself noted in August that he was unsure when he would be back on All Elite Wrestling programming before he admitted the situation had made him feel depressed

Wardlow has been a part of AEW since 2019. Altogether, he is a three-time TNT Champion.
