WWE TV production underwent major changes at the beginning of 2024 following the departure of Kevin Dunn, with new WWE Head of Media & Production Lee Fitting introducing a most sports-based presentation to Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. The company also massively cut back on the incessant camera cuts that were a hallmark of WWE programming under Kevin Dunn.

Fitting's changes to main roster TV production have been widely praised but his role does not extend to WWE NXT, unlike Kevin Dunn when he was WWE's lead producer. Instead WWE NXT's TV production is headed up by Vice President of Line Producing Brian Fadem, according to Fightful Select's Corey Brennan.

Fadem has reportedly "hit the ground running" since taking over from Dunn and one source told Fightful "it was like he picked up someone else's tools, cleaned them off and used them like they were new again." Fadem is also said to be much more open to suggestions from talent in regards to camera shots and other aspects of TV production. The view within NXT was that Kevin Dunn restricted the creativity of the brand's production during his long run with the company.

While Fadem is currently the NXT lead producer, WWE are training other names within NXT to fill that role.
