Update On WWE Plans For Cody Rhodes Vs. Solo Sikoa Rematch

Latest on WWE plans for Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa

WWE's direction for the future Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa rematch for the Undisputed WWE Championship has been revealed.

It has been announced that Cody Rhodes will respond to Solo Sikoa on the post-Bash in Berlin edition of Friday Night SmackDown. This comes after Solo Sikoa stated in a video that he would be coming after the Undisputed WWE Title regardless of who left Bash in Berlin with the championship.

Bad Blood is WWE's next pay-per-view/premium live event but Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported the match won't be taking place at the show. The match is still planned to happen at some point down the line, however.

WWE's next pay-per-view after Bad Blood is Crown Jewel in early November. Rhodes vs. Sikoa would seemingly be unlikely to take place at Survivor Series as reports in recent weeks have noted Sikoa is planned for the WarGames match at Survivor Series against a Roman Reigns-led team.

Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa previously faced off for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of SummerSlam. Rhodes won the match after a returning Roman Reigns laid out Solo Sikoa.
