Major CM Punk Match 'On The Table' For WWE Survivor Series

CM Punk possibly to have major match at WWE Survivor Series

Could CM Punk end 2024 as World Heavyweight Champion?

CM Punk is currently locked in a programme with Drew McIntyre but their long-running feud looks set to come to an end by Survivor Series. According to Viper of PWN, one of the options currently "on the table" for Survivor Series is CM Punk vs. Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Survivor Series will emanate from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on November 30.

CM Punk and Gunther have never faced each other in singles action. CM Punk's programme with Drew McIntyre will continue for the time being and they are reportedly planned to face each other in a Hell in a Cell Match that will main event the Bad Blood PPV/PLE on Saturday, October 5.

CM Punk's head-to-head record with Drew McIntyre is currently 1-1. McIntyre won their first match at SummerSlam, while CM Punk emerged victorious from their Strap Match at Bash in Berlin. CM Punk reclaimed the bracelet at Bash in Berlin but McIntyre broke it on Monday's episode of Raw before shoving it in Punk's mouth and hitting him with a Claymore. Punk ended up having to be stretchered out of the arena following McIntyre's attack.
