NJPW Signs Jake Lee

Jake Lee joins NJPW

New Japan Pro-Wrestling have signed a potential new top star and it was announced today in a press conference that Jake Lee has put pen to paper on a contract with NJPW.

Jake Lee, speaking in character, noted he signed with New Japan because he loves money before admitting he can lie as he is a "smart b*stard."

"Do you not like money? I love money! That's a reason why I signed here. A big one. I may put on airs when I speak, but I can be very revealing at times. Just be careful about whether what I reveal is the truth or not. I am a smart b*stard, after all," Lee said.

Jake Lee made his NJPW debut earlier this year, joining Bullet Club War Dogs. He had a brief feud with Tetsuya Naito before Lee was a part of G1 Climax 34. He finished with 8 points.

Jake Lee began his career in All Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2011 but he left the promotion for Pro Wrestling NOAH in early 2023. Lee is a two-time AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion and one-time GHC Heavyweight Champion.
