The programme between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre continued at Bash in Berlin as they faced off in a Strap Match. CM Punk ultimately won the match clean as he took out Drew McIntyre with a third and fourth GTS while he walked around the ring touching the corners. Punk then removed the bracelet from McIntyre before he hit the fourth corner for the victory.

Punk celebrated his win by standing over his opponent as McIntyre simply lay there prone.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio why Punk won in such a decisive fashion.

"Punk made him tap out, he gave him four GTS’s, he touched all four corners without the other guy touching the corner behind him, they did tease that earlier in the match. The basic gist was the mentality is Punk had not had a big win, he had been in the company since November and they just felt he needed a massive win because he's a massive star. They felt that Drew can handle it and Drew was going to get his heat back two days later," Meltzer said.

Drew McIntyre did exact some measure of revenge on Raw, taking out Punk and destroying the bracelet. Punk ended up having to be stretchered out of the arena and plans reportedly call for their programme to main event Bad Blood in a Hell in a Cell Match.
