The main event of the evening has been revealed to be Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship, setting things up perfectly for a Reigns return to close the show, especially since the match has now been made "Bloodline Rules".

In Reigns’ absence from WWE programming, which has been ongoing ever since he lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, bringing to an end his 1316 day reign as champion, Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline faction. He first expelled Jimmy Uso from the group, before bringing aboard Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Sikoa has also donned himself as “The Tribal Chief”, even throwing shade the way of Reigns.
