WWE have had to pivot on plans for the upcoming Evolution II premium live event after injury to Liv Morgan.

Morgan and partner Raquel Rodriguez were planned to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against a returning Bella Twins on the show on July 13, but after Morgan dislocated her shoulder plans were thrown into disarray.

On WWE TV, Rodriguez has been carrying both women’s tag titles solo, but a report form Fightful Select suggests that Raquel could find a new partner in Roxanne Perez, and the two could be set to defend the straps in a triple threat tag team match, though no opponents have thus far been confirmed.

Morgan could be set to be on the sidelines for around six months due to her injury requiring surgery, another unfortunate occurrence to befall a holder of the women’s tag titles which have been somewhat ‘cursed’ since their inception.

So far one match has been officially confirmed for Evolution II, with NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne set to put the title on the line against Jordynne Grace. The show is set to run head-to-head with All Elite Wrestling’s All In Texas show.
