WWE Women's Tag Team Titles

WWE's plans for the Women's Tag Team Titles during Liv Morgan's absence have been revealed.

Morgan has been out of action since sustaining a freak injury on the June 16 edition of Monday Night Raw when she took a front bump following a trip during a match with Kairi Sane. The innocuous bump resulted in Morgan suffering a dislocated shoulder which requires surgery, putting her on the shelf for up to six months.

It emerged soon after that WWE did not plan to vacate the Women's Tag Team Titles and PWInsider reported ahead of Monday's Raw that the expectation within the company was Roxanne Perez would team with Raquel Rodriguez as the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

Those plans were heavily hinted at on Monday's Raw as Roxanne Perez made the save for Raquel Rodriguez during a brawl with Rhea Ripley, with Perez's interference allowing Rodriguez to put Ripley through a table with a Tejana Bomb. Rodriguez then embraced Perez to end the segment.
