Update On WWE Potentially Signing Giulia

In addition to Kazuchika Okada, WWE have their eyes on another top star from Japan in World Wonder Ring Stardom's Giulia. 

The NJPW STRONG Women's Champion has already received an offer to sign with WWE and in the latest update, Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE and Giulia have spoken several times of late. Giulia has yet to make up her mind on whether to stick with Stardom or jump ship to WWE, however. Giulia is also yet to tell anyone in Japan whether she is staying or leaving Stardom. 

Giulia is under a verbal agreement with Stardom until Spring 2024. She has been one of the promotion's top stars in recent years and is a former World of Stardom Champion. Beyond currently holding the NJPW STRONG Women's Championship, Giulia is the Artist of Stardom Champion with Mai Sakurai and Thekla. 

If WWE would put Giulia straight on the main roster or move her to NXT is unknown. It is believed Stardom would be able to match an NXT deal but a main roster deal would allow Giulia to earn far more than she can currently in Japan.
