Update On WWE's Replacement For Kevin Dunn

Who will replace Kevin Dunn in WWE?

After almost 40 years with the company, Kevin Dunn departed WWE at the end of 2023, with his exit being confirmed by WWE President Nick Khan on New Year's Day. Dunn was one of the most important executives in WWE not named McMahon and he retired as WWE Executive Producer and Chief of Global Television Distribution.

Dunn's exit came about in the aftermath of Endeavor's takeover of WWE and the merger with UFC. WWE President Nick Khan and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H held a talent meeting ahead of Monday Night Raw this week and Khan was full of praise for Dunn.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Chris Kaiser, the WWE Executive Vice President of Television, has been mentioned within the company as replacing Dunn. Kaiser has been a key figure behind the scenes for almost a decade, having been heavily involved in overseeing TV production.

Kaiser has been described within WWE as the person "in the trenches" in recent years, while Dunn would "rubber stamp" decisions.

If there will be any significant changes to WWE TV following Dunn's retirement is unknown. Dunn became infamous for the sheer number of camera cuts on WWE TV but there are reportedly others within the company who like this style of production.
