Updated NJPW G1 Climax 31 Standings After Day 6

The G1 continues

After a two-day break, New Japan Pro-Wrestling's G1 Climax 31 resumed today from Korakuen Hall for the third round of B Block matches. 

In the main event, YOSHI-HASHI put on a spirited performance against Kazuchika Okada but the five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion came away with the victory following a Sit-Out Tombstone and Rainmaker. Jeff Cobb also remained in first place following his win over Hirooki Goto, while Taich fell in the standings following an interference-laden defeat to EVIL.

The full results from September 29 are as follows:

  • EVIL def. Taichi
  • SANADA def. Chase Owens
  • Jeff Cobb def. Hirooki Goto
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Tama Tonga
  • Kazuchika Okada def. YOSHI-HASHI


The updated B Block standings are:

3. EVIL 4 points (2-1)
4. Taichi 4 points (2-1)
