Excalibur Says Kiera Hogan Has Signed With AEW

The former Knockouts stand-out has been a fixture on AEW’s programming recently

As heard on the latest episode of AEW Dark, AEW lead commentator Excalibur announced that Kiera Hogan has signed with the company.

The former IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion has been a fixture across AEW programming since August 11 2021, with her most high profile outing being a loss to Jade Cargill at AEW Rampage The First Dance.

Hogan is best known for her four-year stint with IMPACT Wrestling, where she reigned as Knockouts Tag Team Champion on two occasions with Tasha Steelz as Fire ’n Flava, being the first team to hold the titles since they were deactivated in 2013, with Eric Young and ODB the last tandem to hold the gold.

Aside from AEW, Hogan has also made several appearances for NWA since leaving IMPACT, taking part in the Women’s Invitational Cup at the NWA EmPowerrr PPV on August 28.

Hogan’s signing can be seen as a coup for AEW, who are actively building their women’s roster with rumours suggesting a secondary women’s title could be in the works.
