There was a strong professional wrestling presence at last night's Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, which was won by the Eagles 40-22.

X/Twitter user Stoney Ciccone tweeted, 'Why is my dad sitting next to Vince McMahon and the Undertaker at the superbowl rn lol', before following up with candidly-taken pictures of Vince, The Undertaker and Shane McMahon watching the game, which took place at The Superdome in New Orleans.

It is a rare public appearance for Vince McMahon, who continues to face legal challenges. Attorneys for former WWE employee Janel Grant recently submitted their amended lawsuit against McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE, while more plaintiffs have joined the ring boy lawsuit against Vince, Linda McMahon, WWE and TKO.

Vince McMahon notoriously tried to get into the American football business twice, first launching the XFL in 2001. It folded after one season when initially promising ratings nosedived, ultimately costing McMahon somewhere in the region of $35 million.

Despite this, McMahon decided to relaunch the XFL in 2020, where it once again lost tens of millions of dollars and was forced to close mid-season (due to the COVID-19 pandemic) before the league filed for bankruptcy.

AEW owner Tony Khan was also in attendance at last night's game, as was current AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné and TNA's Gail Kim.
