Von Wagner Works WWE Main Event Tapings

Von Wagner in action at WWE Main Event tapings

It was CUM Monday for Von Wagner on December 11.

WWE presented the latest edition of Monday Night Raw from Cleveland, Ohio this week and Von Wagner was backstage at the event, being brought to Cleveland to work the Main Event tapings before Raw.

Von Wagner ended up facing a fellow NXT talent in Edris Enofe and Wagner picked up the victory. Another NXT wrestler in Elektra Lopez was also booked for the Main Event taping as she lost to Natalya.

Von Wagner has worked the WWE Main Event tapings on several occasions over the past year, facing the likes of R-Truth, Cedric Alexander, and Joe Coffey. If WWE are considering calling up the second-generation talent to the main roster in the near future is unknown.

NXT talents have been utilised on WWE Main Event for some time, with WWE believing it allows them to see a more accurate reflection of how a wrestler will connect with a main roster audience. NXT talent also view working the tapings as a reward.
