WALTER Set For First WWE NXT UK Appearance Since January
Der Ring General is set to make a statement
WWE NXT UK Champion WALTER is set to appear on the next edition of NXT UK, where Der Ring General has requested time to make a statement.
The announcement was made on this week's NXT UK, with WALTER not appearing on the show since January 14, successfully defending the UK Championship against A-Kid in his last outing.
As seen on NXT in the past few weeks, Imperium members Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, and Alexander Wolfe have been making their presence felt, confronting Killian Dayne, Timothy Thatcher, and Tomasso Ciampa.
On this week’s edition of NXT, Ciampa mentioned WALTER, saying he is “sitting safely across the pond holding onto the NXT United Kingdom Championship while the rest of Imperium does his bidding for him.”
Ciampa & Thatcher are facing Imperium's Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner on NXT next Wednesday, and it remains to be seen if WALTER’s address on NXT UK will have anything to do with Ciampa and Thatcher, or will be something else entirely.
WALTER has reigned as NXT UK Champion for over 700 days, making him the longest serving champion in all of WWE since Hulk Hogan’s first WWE Title reign from 1984 to 1988.
