Wardlow To Defend TNT Championship At AEW House Rules
AEW have announced Wardlow vs. Lee Moriarty for 'House Rules' event
In two weeks time AEW will be hosting their next set of House Rules events after the first one took place back in March. At this show, which will take place on May 13 at the Salem Civic Center in Virginia, it has been announced that Wardlow will be appearing to defend his newly won TNT Championship.
After an open challenge was issued, it was revealed that The Firm’s Lee Moriarty would be stepping up to the plate to fight for the gold at this non-televised live event. This will be their first ever singles match in AEW, with their only other interaction coming in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale back in 2021.
There are no other matches announced for this show as of yet, though the night before on May 12, FTR will defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Gunns at another House Rules show held in Corbin, Kentucky in a rematch for a few weeks back when FTR defeating them to become champions.
