All Elite Wrestling talents may need to cut back on swearing, according to a new report.

Swearing has been a common part of AEW since the promotion's founding in January 2019, with one famous example in recent months being Christian Cage telling Adam Copeland to go f**k himself after the former Edge's AEW debut at WrestleDream. Copeland later returned the favour after Cage brought up the Rated-R Superstar's mother.

The profanity has often been bleeped on social media but has been allowed to air on TNT or TBS in the United States. That changed this week, however, as Hangman Page shouting "horses**t" on Dynamite was bleeped out. This may prove difficult for the former AEW World Champion as "cowboy s**t" is often chanted at Hangman by fans.

Dave Meltzer addressed the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying: "There was a lot of bleeping on this show. The days of saying horsesh*t and swearing on TBS and TNT look over."

The censoring will ultimately be directed by Warner Bros. Discovery, the owners of TNT and TBS. The TV deal between AEW and WBD is currently set to expire at the end of 2024 and they are in an exclusive negotiating window over a new arrangement.

While swearing might no longer be allowed, blood and flipping off look set to remain a feature on AEW TV. Orange Cassidy and Matt Taven were both covered in blood during their Texas Death Match on Wednesday night's Dynamite. Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy, meanwhile, flipped off Sammy Guevara following Jeff's No DQ Match with the former TNT Champion during the Rampage taping. The match will air on Friday night.

WWE fans were recently told to stop swearing at a taping of NXT following chants of "F**k you Melo."
