While she is no longer involved in professional wrestling, Debra Marshall (AKA Queen Debra), has remained busy and she now finds herself working in the District Attorney's office in New Orleans, Lousiana.
Debra graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in 2013 and she was awarded a master of science degree in criminal justice in 2017, completing both degrees at the University of Alabama.
Debra detailed her current career at the For The Love of Wrestling convention, telling Monopoly Events during a Q&A session:
"I ended up going to the University of Alabama and I received a bachelor [degree] and then I received a master of science in criminal justice from the University of Alabama. Now I currently work for the District Attorney’s Office in New Orleans, Louisiana so it's been an interesting journey from wrestling to what I do now."
Marshall is primarily known for her run in WCW from 1995 to 1998 as Queen Debra and her stint in WWE between 1998 and 2002 as Debra. Marshall began her career by accompanying her then-husband Steve McMichael to the ring in WCW. Upon joining WWE in 1998, Debra managed Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart's tag team and she later held the WWE Women's Championship for 29 days in 1999, having won the belt from Sable in an Evening Gown Match.
Debra was later featured on-screen with her second husband Stone Cold Steve Austin until 2002, including during Austin's legendary feud with The Rock leading into WrestleMania X-Seven.
Should she make a return to pro wrestling, Debra noted she would love to work with Jeff Jarrett.
"I would say Jeff. Well, you know, we worked together in WCW and then also in the WWF/WWE. But, I don't know. I just know his movements and we just worked, I thought, really well together," Debra said later in the Q&A.
