AJ Styles is without a doubt the most important wrestler in TNA history, with the ‘Phenomenal One’ having a Hall of Fame worthy career in the promotion.

During his time in TNA, Styles won every title and accolade you can think of, before departing in 2014 due to pay disputes. Styles was offered a spot in the TNA Hall of Fame but rejected it, with the multi-time WWE Champion revealing his reasoning during a Fanatics live signing event during WWE WrestleMania 41 weekend:

"There was a time they wanted me to come in and be in the TNA Hall of Fame. I just thought it was a little disrespectful at the time, to WWE, to go into the TNA Hall Of Fame. I want to go into the Hall of Fame when I'm done wrestling. I think that's more appropriate. There are a lot of places I've wrestled and I'm very thankful that I can be in any Hall of Fame. I'm gonna wait until I'm done," said Styles.

TNA reportedly wanted to induct AJ at Bound for Glory in 2024, with the promotion enjoying a healthy working relationship with WWE. Styles recently admitted he’d like to wrestle in a TNA ring one last time.
