Becky Lynch is on her way back to WWE but the former Women's World Champion was absent from the premiere of Monday Night Raw on Netflix on January 6.

Many expected Lynch to show up on Monday night but Lynch wasn't booked for the show and she wasn't in Los Angeles for the event from the Intuit Dome.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Lynch will be returning at some point in the weeks to come but she wasn't brought back on January 6 because WWE want to "make the most out of maximizing those moments and introducing those characters to the Netflix crowd." Multiple names, outside of Lynch, are scheduled to return in the coming weeks, according to PWInsider.

Becky Lynch has been gone from WWE programming since her contract expired in June 2024. Lynch has reportedly agreed to a new deal, though, following an extended break from the industry.

Becky Lynch first signed with WWE in 2013. In addition to her Women's World Title reign, the 37-year-old is a former Raw Women's Champion, SmackDown Women's Champion, NXT Women's Champion, and Women's Tag Team Champion.
