Despite rumours of a potential exit from AEW, Private Party returned to AEW programming after over a year away from television, though the team of Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy have not wrestled a tag team match since March. It was known that Quen was ruled out with an injury, but there was no news on the condition of Kassidy.
According to PWInsider, it is noted that Kassidy has also joined Quen on the injury list, with it being said that he is “banged up and hurt as well”. This would explain why Kassidy has not been appearing in any sort of singles capacity on either AEW Dynamite, Collision, or even over on Ring Of Honor.
The pair are former AEW World Tag Team Champions, but upon their loss of the gold to The Hurt Syndicate in 2025, they disappeared from TV. The next year saw speculation over their respective contractual statuses in AEW, plus talk of WWE interest in the tag team. Their return in 2026 came as the mystery team in a number one contenders triple threat match also involving The Young Bucks and The Rascalz, but they ultimately came up short.
