Roman Reigns being pulled from June episodes of Monday Night Raw appears to have been a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.
Reigns was prominently featured in promotional materials for the June 1, June 8, June 15, and June 22 episodes of WWE Raw. Reigns is no longer being advertised for those events, however, with it emerging soon after that the World Heavyweight Champion was not scheduled for the Night of Champions pay-per-view on June 27 either.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Reigns was advertised for June tapings of Raw in error and it was a mistake on the TKO/WWE side about what dates Roman Reigns would be working. Reigns being promoted was simply a clerical error, and there is not an issue between the 40-year-old and WWE.
Reigns not appearing on WWE TV differs from his comments after winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 when he claimed he would be around "all summer." June, of course, is one of the three months of summer along with July and August.
Roman Reigns will be working Backlash on May 9 when he defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu. He is also being promoted for WWE Raw for the remainder of May.
