Roman Reigns and The Bloodline often find themselves main eventing WWE's premium live events/pay-per-views, even when a show is built around another match entirely like October's Bad Blood.

That wasn't the case at Crown Jewel, though, as The New Bloodline vs. OG Bloodline six-man tag team match opened the Saudi Arabia show, with Solo Sikoa pinning Roman Reigns to win the match. Sami Zayn then appeared post-match and accidentally decked Reigns with a Helluva Kick. Zayn, The Usos, and Roman Reigns have since reunited, though.

Fightful Select has reported that WWE decided to book Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther in the main event over the latest chapter in the Bloodline programme as the company wanted to highlight the Crown Jewel Championship. It was also seen as important to end with the Crown Jewel titles due to the WWE's relationship with Saudi Arabia, who pay the company a whole heap of money for the shows.

The Bloodline will be in the headline match at Survivor Series as it will be OG Bloodline vs. New Bloodline in WarGames. Survivor Series will emanate from Vancouver on Saturday, November 30.
