The Undisputed Kingdom is officially no more and Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong renamed their trio to The Paragon on the post-Dynasty episode of AEW Dynamite.
According to Sean Ross Sapp on the Fightful Dynamite Review, the trio was renamed as The Kingdom of Matt Taven and Mike Bennett weren't originally planned for the stable. Cole, KOR, and Strong couldn't simply name themselves Undisputed due to the likelihood of being sued.
"The Undisputed Kingdom are now The Paragon, just because The Kingdom was never planned for this team and have not been on TV since they came out and celebrated, which I don't think they were supposed to do, with Undisputed. So, cool, they got a new name because I'm pretty sure if they would just call themselves Undisputed they would probably get sued," Sean Ross Sapp said.
Plans for a version of The Paragon were initially established in 2022, with Kyle O'Reilly even using 'paragon' to describe the potential of the trio of KOR, Adam Cole, and Bobby Fish. The name was never used in an official capacity, though, and the trademark from AEW filed in January 2022 went unused until April 9.
Mike Bennett and Matt Taven were still on the AEW roster as of January, but they have not wrestled since working ROH Final Battle in December 2024.
