Dijak is set to leave WWE, with his final day under contract with the company being June 28. The former T-Bar noted in an announcement about his departure that WWE had not tried to negotiate a new deal with him and Dijak has since said that he thought his time with the company was coming to an end after he wasn't utilised on Monday Night Raw following him being drafted back to the main roster earlier this year.

Dijak being on the main roster was ultimately the main reason behind his release, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Meltzer noted the situation was that Dijak "had a main roster contract and was not being used on the main roster." Dijak being 37-year-old also reportedly worked against the possibility of WWE re-signing him.

Dijak had been with WWE since he signed with the company in 2017. He was initially presented as Dominik Dijakovic on NXT before he was repackaged as T-Bar in the Retribution stable on the main roster in 2020. After his time as T-Bar flopped, he headed back to NXT in late 2022 as Dijak. The former ROH star impressed back on NXT and there were reportedly plans in place for him to feud over the NXT Title before WWE called him back to the main roster and then decided not to renew his contract.

His next destination has yet to be revealed but Dijak has already stated that he has pitched ideas to All Elite Wrestling.
