Will Ospreay Appears On AEW Dynamite

And he brought some friends

Former IWGP World Heavyweight champion Will Ospreay made a surprise appearance on Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite in Kansas City.

Ospreay's appearance came during an in-ring confrontation involving Trent Beretta and ROH World Tag Team champions FTR. Beretta was requesting another title shot for he and Roppongi Vice partner Rocky Romero, due to United Empire Members Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan running in and attacking both teams during their prior match.

After Dax Harwood referred to Cobb and Great-O-Khan as "Will Ospreay's bitch boys", Ospreay suddenly made his entrance into the arena. As Ospreay stared FTR and Beretta down from the stage, the three men were attacked by United Empire members Aaron Hanare and Aussie Open teammates Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis.

Ospreay joined his teammates in the ring in beating FTR and Beretta down.

In his time with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ospreay is a former IWGP World Heavyweight champion, a three-time Junior Heavyweight champion, two-time Best of the Super Juniors winner, and the winner of the 2021 New Japan Cup.

Ospreay is scheduled to challenge for Juice Robinson's IWGP United States title this Sunday at Dominion, in a triple threat match with fellow challenger Sanada.
