Will Ospreay Cleared To Wrestle On AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay will be wrestling on AEW Dynamite after being cleared

Will Ospreay had his first official match as a full-time All Elite Wrestling star at Revolution 2024 on March 3, with the ‘Aerial Assassin’ defeating Callis Family associate Konosuke Takeshita in an early match of the year contender.

Post-match it was announced that Ospreay will face another Don Callis Family team-mate Kyle Fletcher on the March 6 edition of AEW Dynamite, but AEW President Tony Khan admitted during the post-PPV media scrum that Ospreay’s participation was ‘questionable’ after taking a rough avalanche brainbuster and scraping his back on the top turnbuckle.

Later taking to X/Twitter, Khan confirmed that the match will indeed go ahead, posting the following:

“TOMORROW, Wed 3/6 @GS_District Atlanta Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TBS, tomorrow 8pm ET/7pm CT @kylefletcherpro vs  @WillOspreay.

“It's official: After one of the best AEW matches ever vs @Takesoup at #AEWRevolution, Will Ospreay will fight the incredible Kyle Fletcher TOMORROW!”

This will mark the third time the two will face off in singles competition, with Ospreay holding victories over Fletcher in 2020 and 2019. Fletcher is the current reigning Ring of Honor World Television Champion.
