Will Ospreay To Debut In MLW Later This Year

Ospreay returns to Philadelphia for the first time since 2017.

Major League Wrestling have announced that self-proclaimed IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay will make his debut for the company this year.

The announcement was made during MLW’s recent Fightland special that aired on vice, with Alicia Atout announcing the Aerial Assassin’s impending debut.

It was later confirmed that Ospreay will debut on November 6 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia - more famously known as the ECW Arena. November 6 is being billed as MLW’s ‘Intimidation Games’, but so far no more details have been released pertaining to Ospreay’s appearance.

Ospreay has been appearing for NJPW Strong in the USA recently, whilst Japan is still battling to contain COVID-19. The last time Ospreay wrestled in the ECW Arena was in December 2017, when Ospreay battled Jay Lethal in a Ring Of Honor ring.

The Aerial Assassin has also recently been announced for OTT’s Seventh Anniversary Shows in Dublin and Belfast on October 30 and October 31, shows which will feature Big Damo’s matches since his WWE release.
