Willow Nightingale Dealing With Minor Injury
Willow Nightingale is currently injured
It’s been several weeks since the blood-spattered Street Fight between Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale against TayJay AS on AEW Rampage, and despite working the following episode of Dynamite, it seems that Willow Nightingale is currently dealing with injury.
Nightingale was scheduled to work a match for indy promotion Beyond Wrestling on January 29, but tweeted on January 27 that she would not be competing on the show:
“Sorry I won’t be able to compete this weekend, but I'll still be around to see all you lovely people in Worcester," tweeted Nightingale, before revealing in a further tweet that she was advised by doctors to avoid wrestling for the time being after getting stitches in her knee.
Nightingale signed with All Elite Wrestling in October 2022 after featuring for the company - as well as sister promotion Ring of Honor - on several occasions. Nightingale’s last match was a singles loss to Toni Storm on the January 18 edition of Dynamite, with Storm and Saraya beating Nightingale down post-match and turning heel in the process.
