We have an update on Kofi Kingston after the former WWE Champion was rocked with a stiff knee on the September 29 edition of WWE.
There’s departures from WWE NXT and Pro Wrestling NOAH, and the son of Sting is set to make his pro-wrestling debut.
Here’s all the pro-wrestling rumours and reports for September 30 2025:
Kofi Kingston suffered singles defeat to LA Knight on the September 29 edition of WWE Raw, with the New Day member at one point rocked with a stiff knee to the head.
However it looks as though Kingston has avoided injury, with Bryan Alvarez noting that Kingston hasn’t been added to the WWE internal injury list and is apparently ‘OK’ following the match.
Edris Enofe has departed WWE, having been part of NXT since joining the company in 2021.
Taking to Instagram and X/Twitter, Enofe said the following about his exit:
“As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE. This is a decision that I thought about for a very long time, and I’m gonna trust my gut on this. With that being said, for the past four years, I had the chance and the opportunity to meet and work with incredible people, from the wrestlers to the referees, to the creative team, to the medical staff, and of course to all the coaches who put in so much time and effort into making me better, and for that, I will always, always appreciate y’all, and of course to all the fans who have supported me and stuck by my side through all these years, thank you.”

Ridge Holland is set for a spell on the sidelines, with the ‘Steam Pig’ having suffered a lisfranc injury at a recent set of TNA TV tapings.
Holland announced the injury himself, noting on X/Twitter that he is set for surgery: “Lisfranc Injury…Surgery Friday. See ya in abit”
Lisfranc is a dislocation or fracture of the joints in the mid-foot, where the bones of the forefoot (toes) meet the bones of the hind-foot (heel and arch).
Go Shiozaki is set to depart Pro Wrestling NOAH for a second time, ending a ten-year run with the promotion.
The only five-time GHC Heavyweight Champion, Shiozaki has decided not to renew with the promotion, with NOAH parent company Cyberfight releasing the following on X/Twitter:
“Announcement of the Contract Expiration for Go Shiozaki Following discussions based on the request from Go Shiozaki, we have decided not to renew the contract with Pro Wrestling Noah, and hereby announce that the contract has expired as of today. September 30, 2025 CyberFight Co., Ltd. / Pro Wrestling Noah.”
Shiozaki has wrestled the majority of his career for NOAH, save for a two-year period from 2013-2015 where he jumped ship to All Japan, winning the Triple Crown during his run.
Steven Borden - the son of the legendary Sting - is set to make his pro-wrestling debut in October 2025.
Per a report from PWInsider, Borden will be among those performing on October 3 and October 10 at New York’s Walker gallery space, in an event put on by his trainer Darby Allin.
Borden was involved in his father’s final match at AEW Revolution 2024, with Steven and Brother Garrett painted up like Wolfpac Sting and Surfer Sting respectively.
