WWE Announces Injuries To Jade Cargill Following SmackDown Angle
WWE revealed that there is no timetable on Jade Cargill's return from injury
Nov 24, 2024
Jade Cargill was ruled out of Survivor Series: War Games 2024 on this past week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, being shown attacked and laid out on top of a car. The footage of Cargill’s prone body on the hood of the vehicle played out during Bianca Belair’s match on SmackDown, leading to her leaving the match and subsequently losing out on her chance to challenge to become the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion.
Cargill was then ‘rushed to hospital’, being pulled from her own triple threat match in the Women’s United States Championship tournament. Although this was all presented as an angle, Fightful Select has noted that WWE were suggesting that the angle was to cover for a legit injury to Cargill, though this was not confirmed.
WWE announced several “injuries” to Cargill in a post on social media:
“BREAKING: @Jade_Cargill has been diagnosed with the following injuries: Deep Lumbar Paraspinal Muscle Contusions, Bruised Kidney, Sprained MCL in her right knee, Tibial Plateau Bone Bruise of her right knee, Facial Lacerations. There is no timetable for her return.”
Bayley emerged to replace Cargill as the final member of the babyface team for War Games on SmackDown.
