There is a familiar name back in the mix when it comes to the backstage personnel in WWE, as WWE Hall Of Famer Michael Hayes has returned to his roles after a period of absence. It was reported earlier this month that Michael Hayes along with Bruce Prichard were both on leave from WWE for personal reasons, though no more details were provided aside from the fact that they were both expected to return.

According to Fightful Select, Michael Hayes is now back in the fold. He was listed as a producer for the double tapings which took place for Friday Night SmackDown in Salt Lake City, Utah this week.

Hayes has been a key player in WWE’s creative time in recent times, particularly when it comes to Roman Reigns’ segments and programmes, being one of the main producers for Reigns’ matches. Fightful Select notes that he has immediately resumed work alongside segments involving Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

In his absence, Bobby Roode filled in for Hayes, reportedly receiving a lot of backstage praise for his work in the role.
