WWE Announces When Worlds Collide Will Air

For several weeks, fans have been wondering when they’ll be able to watch the WWE Worlds Collide event, which is set to take place later tonight on Saturday, September 26 in Chicago, Illinois. This show is going head-to-head with AEW All Out 2026, with many expecting WWE’s counter-programming efforts to try to take some viewership and PPV buys away from the competition. However, it will not air live.

There have been back-and-forth reports in recent weeks over the status of Worlds Collide, with it emerging that there were no live broadcast plans, with no announcers scheduled to be brought in for the show. It has finally been officially announced by WWE that Worlds Collide will be aired on tape delay, being broadcast on Wednesday on YouTube (which still happens to be the same day that AEW runs their weekly Dynamite show). 

False Finish followed up on this news stating that two weeks ago there were in fact plans to bring in announcers for a live broadcast, though these plans seemingly changed between then and now, with no indication as to why that choice was made.
