Report: WWE Still Moving Ahead With WrestleMania In Saudi Arabia Despire Safety Concerns

Concerns have been raised in recent weeks over the safety threats posed in the Middle East amidst current conflict, putting into question the status of the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 7. Despite travel recommendations telling many to reconsider plans to visit the region, and even though there is reportedly large concern in WWE about the event, next year’s WrestleMania plans for Saudi Arabia are ploughing ahead at full steam. 

According to PWInsider, WWE is reportedly moving ahead with WrestleMania 43’s location and plans for the time being, with it stated that representatives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited WWE HQ this month to discuss the logistics surrounding the event. It is also noted that the dates for WrestleMania are “pretty much locked in”, though there has still been no official announcement on when WrestleMania will be held. 

When it comes to recent changes regarding safety and concerns, PWInsider stated that they were told that WWE will have a contingency plan in place for WrestleMania and will be working with private security experts to judge the course of action they will be taking for the show.
