WWE Has 'Large Concern' Ahead Of Crown Jewel 2026 In Saudi Arabia

WWE’s scheduled Crown Jewel 2026 event in Saudi Arabia is reportedly causing ‘large concern’ within WWE.

The show is currently scheduled to take place on November 7 in the Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD in Riyadh, however, the US States Department updated its Level 3 travel advisory for Saudi Arabia, advising Americans to “reconsider travel” to the region due to the risk of Iranian drone and missile targeting of American interests.

A report from Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select suggests that situation has caused ‘large concern’ within WWE, with some in WWE who make frequent trips to the Gulf State for WWE events have asked about potential schedule changes for the show. WWE are yet to publicly address the situation, and the concerns are believed to extend from backstage all the way to WWE headquarters.

The ongoing situation in Saudi Arabia has thrown doubt over not only Crown Jewel, but potentially WrestleMania XLIII, with the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ set for Riyadh in April 2027. Despite concerns over Crown Jewel taking place in Saudi Arabia, it is understood that the show will go ahead regardless on November 7 due to scheduling commitments with ESPN, with a new venue for the show seemingly not out of the question.
