WWE Changed Plans For Jade Cargill's Raw After WrestleMania Match

WWE changed plans for Raw after WrestleMania 40

WWE aired the Raw after WrestleMania 40 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Monday, April 8 but not all of the show aired as planned.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Jade Cargill's singles match against Chelsea Green was supposed to air during the first hour of Monday Night Raw following the opening contest between NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and Shinsuke Nakamura. Cargill vs. Green ended up being bumped until the third hour of Raw, though, likely due to the opening segment between Triple H, The Rock, and Cody Rhodes lasting 43 minutes.

Jade Cargill vs. Chelsea Green ended up taking place during the third hour of Monday Night Raw. The match was ultimately Cargill's WWE singles debut and she picked up the win over the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion after just 32 seconds with Jaded.

Cargill, having signed with WWE in September 2023, made her debut in the 2024 women's Royal Rumble match. She then had her second match at WrestleMania 40, teaming with Bianca Belair and Naomi to defeat Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane.
