WWE Confirms Raymond James Stadium In Tampa, Florida Will Host WrestleMania 36

Last week, Collin Sherwin of 813area.com confirmed a report initially released by PWInsider, that Tampa, Florida will be the host city for WrestleMania 36. Now, WWE have confirmed the news, and have announced that an official press conference will take place at 11 a.m. ET.

WrestleMania 36 will be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, although, in a shortly worded statement on their website, WWE fail to confirm the date for next year's Showcase of the Immortals - instead opting for "April 2020."

The report from Sherwin claims 'Mania 36 will happen on Sunday, April 5.

Raymond James Stadium is the home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers (that explains the pirate aesthetic of the logo) and houses 65,000 fans – although the attendance for ‘Mania could be higher than that once all the seating on the pitch at ringside is accounted for.

This will be the fourth time WWE has held WrestleMania in the state of Flordia after 'Manias 33, XXVIII and XXIV all happened there.

You can catch the announcement press conference - which is said to be a "star-studded gathering" - on WWE's YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels.
