WWE extended the WrestleMania festivities for WrestleMania 41 weekend, with the company taping the post-Stand & Deliver episode of NXT on Tuesday night in Las Vegas. WrestleMania 41 weekend has traditionally ended with the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania.

The crowd was said to be tired and lethargic at Tuesday's NXT show, however, and WWE are considering dropping the post-Stand & Deliver edition of NXT from WrestleMania 42 weekend and taping the show from the WWE Performance Center.

On the tired crowd, Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live:

"It did not go unnoticed by WWE. It appears that next year when they do WrestleMania in New Orleans, it's probably not gonna last through NXT. NXT's probably gonna be back at the Performance Center. There is some thought of running the NXT before WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans."

Headline moments from the NXT after Stand & Deliver included a surprise appearance from Joe Hendry, Noam Dar's return and him regaining the NXT Heritage Cup from Lexis King, and a successful NXT Women's Title defence for Stephanie Vaquer against Roxanne Perez.

NXT could soon be without some of their top stars as Trick Williams, Lola Vice, and Tony D'Angelo are all reportedly being considered for main roster call-ups.

WrestleMania 42 will emanate from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 2026.
