WWE Files To Trademark 'YES YES YES'

Bryan Danielson to stop doing the 'Yes!' chant?

WWE filed to trademark 'YES YES YES' for pro wrestling and merchandise purposes with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on September 30, according to POST Wrestling

WWE's filing comes only 10 days after Bryan Danielson abandoned his own trademark filing for 'Yes! Yes! Yes! with USPTO. Danielson initially filed to trademark the term on July 29 after he realised it was available but the AEW World Champion received a legal email from WWE soon after claiming that he was "infringing."

Danielson popularised the 'Yes!' chant within WWE, particularly during his rise in the early 2010s that led to him winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX. Danielson initially didn't use the pose in All Elite Wrestling after he agreed during a conversation with Kevin Dunn not to use it but he has utilised the 'Yes!' taunt since Forbidden Door 2023.

Danielson only sporadically led the crowd in 'Yes!' chants following Forbidden Door but it has become a fixture of his matches once again during Danielson's final months as a full-time pro wrestler. Danielson will end his full-time in-ring career when he loses the AEW World Championship.
