Interestingly,
PWInsiderhave noted that WWE had a registered trademark for Lesnar dating all the way back to 2003. This filing was later cancelled in 2010.
PWInsideralso report WWE tried to trademark Lesnar's name in 2016 but that application was abandoned later that year.
As for Heyman's name, PWInsider note WWE tried to trademark it in 2013 but that was later abandoned as well.
This latest filing is also the second time WWE have applied to trademark the names of Bobby Lashley and Mojo Rawley. The rest of the names listed above are first-time applications.
Lesnar will be in this year's Royal Rumble match, entering number one.
