WWE Games Twitter Releases Statement On WWE 2K20 User Complaints

A patch is coming...

Between the numerous glitches that have made for absurdly-entertaining gifs and videos across social media, as well as other issues (general mechanics, disappointment with the character models), WWE 2K20 has been subject to scathing reviews, even before its wide release.

IGN rated the game a 4.3 out of 10, and began its review with a succinct "WWE 2K20 is a mess."

The official WWE Games Twitter released a statement Friday, acknowledging the negative response to the game, and promising that the issues will be addressed in the weeks ahead.

The statement reads, "We are listening closely to the feedback that's been shared regarding WWE 2K20 and are aware of the concerns some players are reporting. We're working hard to investigate these concerns and address them as necessary. We expect to have an initial patch ready in the next two weeks, with others to follow. Stay tuned to WWEGames social media channels for more information."

WWE 2K20 is the seventh WWE video game to come under the 2K banner, after the company gained the license from THQ, following THQ's 2012 bankruptcy filing.
