"Extended" Replay Of This Week's AEW Dynamite Airs Tonight On TNT, Against WWE SmackDown

Featuring bonus footage...

The Friday Night Wars begin - sort of.

AEW has announced that this past Wednesday's episode of Dynamite will be replayed tonight on TNT in its typical Wednesday night time slot. The replay will include "Never Before Seen Footage" that involves Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, PAC, and Adam Page.

The show will air for five extra minutes (from 8 PM EST to 10:05) to accommodate the additional footage.

The encore presentation puts Dynamite in direct competition with WWE SmackDown, which won't be airing on the FOX Network tonight, due to World Series coverage.

Instead, for one week, SmackDown will run on FOX sister station FS1. The show will be followed up on the same channel by a special episode of WWE Backstage.

Matches scheduled for Friday's SmackDown include The New Day vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, and Mandy Rose vs. Nikki Cross. Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are scheduled guests of MizTV, while Brock Lesnar and Cain Velaquez are set for a confrontation.

AEW Dynamite from Wednesday included both semi-final matches in the AEW World Tag Team title tournament, Jon Moxley vs. PAC, Kenny Omega vs. Joey Janela, and a confrontation between Cody Rhodes and The Inner Circle.
