November 4 might feature a packed episode of WWE NXT, with the developmental brand having been told to "load it up", according to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer.

The November 4 episode, which is also the post-Halloween Havoc edition of NXT, is scheduled to go head-to-head with the special Blood & Guts episode of AEW Dynamite due to NXT being preempted because of The CW's coverage of the United States midterm elections.

NXT has aired on Tuesday nights for the past five years, while AEW Dynamite airs on Wednesdays. The two shows previously went head-to-head on a weekly basis between October 2019 and April 2021 in the Wednesday Night Wars until NXT switched to Tuesdays after Dynamite won the ratings battle nearly every week.

November 4 will be the first time the two shows have gone head-to-head on a Wednesday night in several years, although they have aired against each other on several occasions on Tuesdays since the end of the Wednesday Night Wars, most recently on October 6 with AEW Grand Slam France being broadcast opposite NXT. WWE NXT premium live events often air against AEW pay-per-views as part of a WWE strategy to hamper AEW's chances of securing another US TV deal after their current agreement with Skydance expires at the end of 2027 or 2028.

How WWE are planning to load up the November 4 episode of NXT is currently unclear. Previously when NXT have loaded up their episodes against AEW it has been at the orders of WWE President Nick Khan, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
