WWE Hall Of Famers To Make NJPW Debut

At a combined age of 123!

WWE Hall of Famers the Rock 'n' Roll Express are set to make their New Japan Pro Wrestling debut, an unlikely addition to the upcoming Fighting Spirit Unleashed tour.

NJPW are set to return to the US for three dates in Boston, New York, and Philadelphia, spanning September 27th to 29th. The Rock 'n' Roll Express were announced alongside Lance Archer and RPG 3K (Rocky Romero, SHO, and YOH), as per the official New Japan site:

'Their tag team career has spanned four decades, and over 30 championship reigns all over the world, but Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express have never wrestled in New Japan Pro Wrestling. That all changes on September 27-29, as the legendary team will wrestle in an NJPW ring for the first time ever! Before now, modern NJPW fans have seen Morton’s influence in his student Chase Owens, but Ricky and Robert will now be in action themselves in Lowell, New York and Philadelphia.'

Despite both Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton both being in their 60s, the legendary tag team have remained active in 2019. This year, they've appeared for Ring of Honor, Beyond Wrestling, and at special events such as the Crockett Cup and Joey Janela's Spring Break.
