After screwing over Drew McIntyre once again at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, WWE fans are wondering when Punk will be ready to return to in-ring competition, and it seems Punk will be back sooner rather than later.

Per a report from WrestleVotes on X/Twitter, ‘The Straight Edge Superstar’ was originally listed internally to return for the end of July, but the belief currently is that Punk won’t be cleared in time for Money in the Bank on July 6, but should be ready in time for SummerSlam on August 3.

Fightful Select corroborated WrestleVotes’ report, and should Punk be ready for the ‘biggest party of the Summer’ then you can imagine that Drew McIntyre will be wanting words with him in Cleveland Browns Stadium… and then some.

Punk is set to appear on the June 21 episode of SmackDown in Chicago, Illinois, several days after McIntyre ‘quit’ WWE due to his and Punk’s escalating war. Punk tore his triceps at the hands of McIntyre during the 2024 Royal Rumble, and despite getting physically involved at Clash at the Castle, Punk told Cultaholic that he’s looking to get cleared for a full in-ring return imminently.
