WWE Interested In Booking Logan Paul-Mike Tyson Segment At WrestleMania 41
Could we see Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson at WWE WrestleMania 41?
Nov 20, 2024
There is reportedly interest from all parties in doing "something" between Logan Paul and Mike Tyson at WWE WrestleMania 41.
That is according to WrestleVotes, who was asked on a Backstage Pass Q&A: "Could we see something between Logan Paul and Mike Tyson at WrestleMania?"
WrestleVotes responded: "I did some digging after what we saw Friday night. I was able to get a source confirm to me there's interest. I don't know anything other than that...There's interest I would say all the way around, just because it makes so much sense."
The interest comes after the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match which aired on Netflix from AT&T Stadium on November 15. Paul defeated the 58-year-old Tyson by unanimous decision.
Mike Tyson has a long history in pro wrestling and he is a WWE Hall of Famer. He was influential during the Attitude era, joining D-Generation X before siding with Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14. Tyson returned to WWE in January 2010, where he had his only pro wrestling match, teaming with Chris Jericho to take on Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Tyson turned on Jericho during the match, rejoining DX in the process.
Tyson was involved with All Elite Wrestling in recent years, serving as the special guest enforcer of Cody Rhodes vs. Lance Archer at Double or Nothing 2020. He then had a confrontation with Chris Jericho that was planned to set up a street fight at All Out 2020 but those plans fell through. Tyson later joined the Inner Circle as an honorary member and his last appearance in AEW came in November 2022 when he was the special guest commentator on an episode of Rampage.
Logan Paul has been wrestling in WWE since 2022. He has established himself as one of the company's top acts and Paul is a former United States Champion. Tyson has previously teased facing Paul in a WWE ring.
