WWE have leaked their own original plans for WWE WrestleMania within a trailer for the upcoming Netflix series, WWE: Unreal.
The trailer shows WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H sitting in a boardroom at WWE HQ in Stamford, Connecticut, with a whiteboard close to 'The Game' revealing WWE's tentative plans for WrestleMania 41.
The matches listed on the whiteboard are as follows:
Fightful Select has reported the matches on the whiteboard were tentative WrestleMania plans from around December and early January, which is why Jey Uso vs. Gunther - a match decided upon in mid-January - is not on the whiteboard.
Fightful noted that Wyatt Sicks vs. Judgment Day ended up being scrapped due to Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy being sidelined with an injury. The decision to switch to Jade Cargill vs. Naomi as opposed to Cargill vs. Nia Jax was made while the former AEW TBS Champion was out of action.
Plans for Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. IYO SKY & Asuka were made several months ago, according to PWInsider. The pitch would have seen Flair and Lynch reunite around Royal Rumble and then build to the match against Damage CTRL at Mania.
